Every day is a day to prove yourself.  No exceptions.  You live or not based on that.

Today, to my surprise one of my own showed up to Camp ready to rock.  Sure, that's nice and all but she seemed still weak, coughing her lungs out and she just didn't seem right.  I sent her home with some cash in her pocket because that's what a man does.  I'll drop some soup later.

Whatever bug is going out there, it does kick you hard.  It seems every year there's a new terror running loose, snagging this person or that person and you can only hope, you ain't next.

Here we have a woman who is a powerhouse when in good health.  Single mom with two kids living by the code.  Prove yourself.  In my case, she don't have to prove a thing today, I already know who she is.

Regardless, she inspires me.  I love seeing humans overcome weaknesses and fight on.  The real life, not the hobby life.  If you have a hobby, we ain't gonna see eye to eye ... kidding.  We have will, skills and we execute.  That's it.  Or so, I says.

So, what about you?  What are you going to do to prove yourself?  It amazes me how short some of you sell yourselves.  You have the world at your disposal, to conquer and you look at one little thing in your way, turning it into your noose.  Don't hang yourself on the small things, look at the big picture, I says.

That's it, I'm done.  Go, conquer and don't let nuthin' stand in your way.  Learn from oppression, from uncomfortable and don't be crazy about it.  If you can't hack it the first time, learn from the experience and keep at it.  You are powerful but don't forget to be kind.  Always be kind.  Inspire us all.
